Architectural Style

The houses I picked for architectural style inspiration were a Mediterranean style home and an Victorian style home. Each of these houses are very different from each other but for my dream home I would want to blend their styles together. I had never seen a Mediterranean style house before and it fits all my wants as far as structurally. I do not think I would want the Terra-Cotta roofing and I am debating if I would want brick for the exterior even though it is common for Mediterranean houses. This is where the old fashioned elegant style of a Victorian home would come into play. I really like all the decals of a Victorian house and arches, windows and doors. So to blend the large, spacious outside, windows and balconies with the stylistic elements of a Victorian can create a very individual look.
