Sketch model

the beginning

          This is beginning of the complete model I will be making for my space. This is my open-air space in the form of a sketch model. Some aspects of the space are already finalized as far as I can get it, such as the tree focal point. I was going for a much more organic feeling and intimate/conversational space by using the symbolism of a tree or “tree of life”. 

This is to represent healing and progression for my take on AIA’s symbol for peace. Something I really need to begin figuring out is materials that will be used and potentially ways to incorporate lights to cohesively represent life and the tree throughout the space. Since it is still incomplete it is a little hard to understand the total space for now, but it is coming along great.
